Your Journey, Thoughtfully Guided

Joyce founded Joy Beyond with a simple belief: the best journeys aren’t just about where you go, but how you experience them - and who you share them with.

Her clients have a vision for how they want to travel, but turning that vision into a seamless experience can quickly become overwhelming. With endless choices, complicated logistics, and countless details to coordinate, even an exciting trip can begin to feel like work.

That’s where Joyce comes in.

As a luxury travel advisor, she serves as a trusted guide - helping clients navigate the options, make thoughtful choices, and create a journey designed around what matters most to them. From exceptional hotels and private experiences to milestone celebrations and group getaways, every detail is intentionally curated.

The result is less time spent planning and more time being present, connecting, and creating memories that last long after the journey ends.

They bring the reason. Joyce helps create the journey - and the joy beyond it.

A Conversation with Joyce

What does the name Joy Beyond mean to you?

There’s a little of my own name in Joy Beyond, which makes it personal. But the idea reaches further: the joy of discovering somewhere unfamiliar, sharing an extraordinary experience, and seeing the world from a different perspective. I want a journey to leave you with something that stays with you long after you return home - a connection, a memory, or a renewed sense of possibility.

How has your background shaped the way you approach travel?

I’ve lived across three continents and consider myself a global citizen. Moving between cultures has shaped my curiosity and the way I relate to people. I speak English, Spanish, and Tagalog, and I value the connections that language and cultural understanding can create. That perspective influences how I think about travel: the setting matters, but so do the people, the conversations, and the experience of being somewhere different.

Travel is your third career. What do you bring from the first two?

My career has taken me from banking into entrepreneurship and now travel. I was a vice president at Bank of America and have owned several small businesses. I bring a practical mindset alongside my creative side: listening carefully, considering the details, and thinking about how the pieces fit together. Travel gives me a way to apply that experience to something deeply personal - how people choose to spend their time and experience the world.

How would you describe your travel style?

Thoughtful, curious, and comfortably paced. I’m drawn to beautiful hotels, local experiences, memorable food, and a balance of discovery and relaxation. I like a journey to have shape and intention while leaving room to enjoy the unexpected. Some of the best moments need a little breathing room.

The destination is only part of the story.

We believe travel is about the feeling. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to create meaningful connections and unforgettable moments.
